Lululemon Athletica Ambassadors

We wanted to share with you how our journey began. A few months ago, a friend encouraged us to apply for the distinctive role as Community Ambassadors. We didn’t know much about lululemon at the time, but when we read their company manifesto (link) and realized how much their life and business philosophies aligned with ours, we eagerly sought out the opportunity. We knew the company only selected professionals of high quality and so we were grateful and excited when we found out that not only would we be Ambassadors for the Mid-Atlantic region for the year, but that we would be the first couple ever to be chosen.

In May, we attended a reception for the new regional ambassadors at the Canadian Embassy in DC. We felt a bit “glam” as we did a professional photo shoot. Our photo is prominently displayed at the lululemon shop at Parole Town Centre in Annapolis.

As Community Ambassadors, our responsibilities are many. We provide free, community fitness classes and events throughout our term and are expected to embody the lululemon lifestyle and culture, which we feel we do everyday as we have the fun experience of helping others live healthier, fuller lives.
